With over 15km of footpaths, and bridleways in and around Long Wood, of varying lengths and durations, there is something for all ages and abilities at Long Wood taking in local Iron Age Hillforts, a variety of habitat types and terrains.

Built using sustainable materials and timber sourced from within Long Wood and milled onsite, Canolfan Long Wood offers a comfortable and tranquil setting for the administrative activities of Long Wood staff.  The building also has a large, ecologically sympathetic space that can be rented out for various occasions.  Here are some of the courses which have been run by independent providers:
