We exclusively mill our own timber, which is sourced from our plantation-grown forests.
Douglas Fir
A majestic non-native softwood sought after for its strength and longevity. Great for both internal and external uses, it possesses a beautiful grain of almost salmon-pink heartwood. A unique and premium milled timber, it has many applications in building and carpentry.
Larch
Is strong and durable softwood that has natural waterproofing tannins making it a great external or internal timber. Has a warm golden rich colouring that turns silver with sun exposure. It is our finest native softwood for timber. Great plantation tree as it is deciduous, dropping its needles in winter, bathing the forest floor with light.
Sitka Spruce
Due to its fast growth in this climate, Sitka is the most heavily grown plantation softwood in Wales. It is an all-purpose internal building timber ideal for stud work, framing, and panelling. The heartwood is light white and turns pale yellow in old-growth timber.
We also have Oak and Spalted Beech – these are premium products.

Sawn Timber
Our on-site Woodmizer sawmill can process lengths of up to 6m. We can process our own timber to order or, alternatively, if you have a piece that requires precision milling, we can process it to your specifications (subject to biosecurity controls). Our skilled miller can advise on the best cutting patterns to get the most out of your timber.
