Halloween Fun Returns to Longwood Community Woodland

Get ready for a spooktacular afternoon at the Longwood Community Woodland Halloween Event on 31 October from 1pm to 4pm. We invite families, friends and local residents to join us for an afternoon packed with Halloween fun, community spirit and outdoor adventure.

As autumn colours fill the woodland, Halloween is the perfect time to explore the site and enjoy everything nature has to offer. Whether you come dressed as a witch, wizard, ghost or goblin, you’ll find plenty of activities to enjoy. Most importantly, you’ll have the chance to make lasting memories with family and friends.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors can take part in a range of Halloween-themed activities. In addition, you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of the woodland as it transforms into a magical setting for the celebration. Therefore, this event is a fantastic way to get outdoors, have fun and connect with your local community.

Furthermore, the event gives people of all ages an opportunity to learn more about Longwood Community Woodland and the work we do throughout the year. At the same time, it brings the community together and helps support the woodland for future generations.

However, we cannot run events like this without support from volunteers. For that reason, we are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to help on the day. You could assist with setting up, welcoming visitors, running activities or packing away afterwards. Not only will you help create a successful event, but you will also meet new people and support an important local community project.

So, if you would like to volunteer, please get in touch with the Longwood Community Woodland team. We would love to hear from you. Likewise, if you simply want to enjoy a fun Halloween afternoon, be sure to come along and join the celebrations.

Mark your calendar for 31 October from 1pm to 4pm. We look forward to welcoming you to the Longwood Community Woodland Halloween Event for a frightfully good time!
