Trails

With over 15km of trails and a bridleway in and around Longwood of varying lengths and durations, there is something for all ages and abilities with a mixed variety of habitat types and terrains.

  • Dragon Trail, ideal for 4years old and above. Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
  • Hob’s Garden, where the roundhouse structure was refurbished by volunteers in 2018.
  • Castell Goetre – walk around the old hill fort.

Please note that we are in woodland, and the terrain is difficult for wheelchairs and normal pushchairs. However, you can use an off-road pushchair on some routes. We are looking into a limited access route, but this will be in the near future.

We do have 1 route that is wheel chair  and pushchair friendly from Canolfan up to Penlan Goetre.

More walks will be added, keep checking back.
